Double Joy for Bharti Singh: Comedian Welcomes Second Baby Boy With Haarsh

New Delhi: Television star and comedian Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy, marking a new and happy chapter in their family life. 

According to sources, Bharti went into labour while shooting for her show Laughter Chefs, bringing the set to a sudden halt.

What unfolded during the shoot?

Bharti gave birth earlier today, though the details regarding the newborn or official statements from the couple are awaited. According to India Today, the comedian was rushed to a nearby hospital in Mumbai after her water broke while she was present at the shoot of the cooking reality show Laughter Chefs Season 3 earlier in the morning.

Those present say Bharti suddenly felt uncomfortable and realised her water had broken. Bharti was rushed to the hospital. A few hours later, she delivered a healthy baby boy. What began as a workday ended as a life-changing moment.

A new chapter for their family?

The couple, who first rose to fame with their work in comedy and television hosting, already share a son, Lakshya (affectionately called Golla), born in April 2022. With the arrival of their second child, Bharti and Haarsh are now parents to two boys.

How did the couple announce the pregnancy?

The couple announced their second pregnancy in September during a family trip to Switzerland.

Taking to Instagram, Bharti shared the pictures with the caption, "We are pregnant again #blessed #ganpatibappamorya #thankyougod #babycomingsoon."

In the photos, Bharti can be seen flaunting her baby bump as the couple posed together.

The couple also shared pictures from her maternity photoshoot on Instagram with the caption, "2nd Baby Limbachiya coming soon."

Are they planning a third baby?

Recently, during the duo's podcast, which featured actress Sonali Bendre as a guest, Haarsh hinted at plans for a third baby.

During the discussion, Sonali opened up about choosing to have only one child, to which Bharti talked about becoming a mother for the second time.

During the conversation, the actress called Bharti a 'seasoned mom,' adding to the context, Haarsh said, "Hum rukenge nahi, Bharti (we will not stop)."

Explaining the context behind this statement, Bharti said: "Yeh kehta hai ki hum rukenge nahi. Humein na ladki chahiye toh humara aisa hai ki agar ladka hogaya toh hum ek aur try karenge. Agar agla bhi ladka hogaya toh kehta hai aur karenge. Toh jab tak main marti nahi na ma'am karte rahenge (He says we won't stop. We want a girl, so we thought if it's a boy this time as well, we'll try once more. If again we have a boy, he says we'll again try. So, we will keep trying until I die)."
